GACS: Going Greater with Social

Greater Atlanta Christian School is one of the most prestigious private schools in the metro Atlanta area. With modern, high-tech classrooms and a breathtaking campus, the school takes pride in the quality education it provides for its students. But, GACS still needed to get this message out there. They wanted to broadcast their academic prestige, seek out new students and build up trust and awareness with anyone who shares the same interest in quality education. GACS also wanted to inform people about their new bus route and the extent of locations it covers for student transport. Frenik Marketing Group was lucky to have the opportunity this summer to build GACS a campaign to generate awareness of their accomplishments and drive more interest in involvement with the school.

They wanted to broadcast their academic prestige, seek out new students and build up trust and awareness with anyone who shares the same interest in quality education.

 

Our goal was to build GACS a campaign that targeted specific audiences. These audiences include parents already choosing private school for their children’s education, parents with children already enrolled, individuals and alum who were previously enrolled and parents who are no longer satisfied with public school. In order to best communicate with these groups, we constructed a social media campaign that covered 6 weeks of Facebook posts and ads. These ads showcased many different aspects that make GACS so impressive, including campus facts, teacher spotlights, student testimonials, unique experiences and the wide variety of advanced courses the school offers.

To illustrate the convenience and efficiency of GACS’ new and improved bus route, we also designed an animated video short that explained all the different routes and pick up locations for the over 14 counties students commute from. Additionally, we created each ad and post throughout this campaign with custom visual elements, such as infographics, testimonials and giveaways to serve as calls to action and boosted forms of engagement for audience members.

 

The campaign we launched for Greater Atlanta Christian School proved to be highly successful. We’re thrilled to share the following stats: 19,000 minutes of video watched, 33,973 video views in which 75% OR MORE OF THE VIDEO WAS WATCHED, 13% increase in total page likes (536 new likes) and 317,437 people reached with OVER A MILLION social impressions! The numbers certainly speak for themselves.

Impressive numbers aside, we were also able to gather key intel to factor into future campaigns to make them more successful, including form testing strategies and high-performing asset types. Overall, the campaign for GACS was not only a great opportunity to raise awareness for an amazing institution, but also a learning experience that gave us worthwhile findings to make our future campaigns even better.
